It is widely recognised that natural gas boilers emit carbon into our atmosphere and that domestic heating accounts for 14 % of the UK’s carbon emissions.

To support the future of our environment MyGas have entered the renewable sector to support the reduction in these emissions and are accredited installers of Air Source Heat Pump systems.

Some households however are simply incompatible with low temperature heating systems such as this. Additionally, the current cost of living crisis does not always support the decision to install alternative and often more expensive energy solutions.

MyGas are therefore committed to future proofing Ayrshires existing households supplied with gas or oil by installing modern high efficiency boilers.

To offset our own customers carbon footprint, MyGas have formed an amazing partnership with the Ayrshire Rivers Trust. That means for every boiler installation we undertake, we donate towards the planting of two trees within an Ayrshire riverbed.
