System Design

We offer a turnkey heating solution through the key stages of design, installation and maintenance. Our engineers have installed many different types of systems in new build houses, period properties and everything in between.
We can carry out individual room heat loss calculations, radiator sizes, boiler and pipe sizing.
We can also design and install your hot, cold and waste services including tanks and unvented hot water cylinders.
System Repairs
MyGas carry out repairs on central heating systems of all kinds including gas and oil fired boiler systems, heating controls and pumps valves.
Central heating repairs can be daunting, however, if you are concerned that your heating system is not operating at 100%, we can help.
We carry a vast array of spares for your heating system including thermostatic controls, programmers/timers, pumps, motorised directional zone valves, thermostatic radiator valves (TRV’s), ball float valves, UFH flow meters, bleeding valves and magnetic system filters to name a few.
Radiators

Underfloor Heating
MyGas can design and install your underfloor heating system.
We are an approved G1 installer for Grant Uflex underfloor heating systems which are suitable for new builds, extensions and retrofits.
Underfloor heating systems are becoming more popular with an increasing number of homeowners opting for this type of heat emitter within their home. Underfloor heating is especially effective alongside Air Source Heat Pump installations and is more efficient than conventional radiators. It is great for wooden, tiled, stone or brick floors.
Underfloor heating can deliver high efficiencies, improved aesthetics, enhanced comfort, and with choices like the Uflex and Uflex MINI systems, underfloor heating can suit almost every property.
Wet Underfloor Heating Solutions
Grant UK supply wet underfloor heating systems which feature a series of flexible pipes which are laid within the floor through which hot water flows and transfers heat upwards into a room. The Uflex range includes screeded underfloor heating systems, which use either a traditional screed or self-levelling compound, and non-screeded underfloor heating systems which use either aluminium heat emission plates or high density polystyrene boards. Low Profile Underfloor Heating Systems
The Grant Uflex MINI is a low profile underfloor heating system which is just 15mm in finished floor height. It can be installed over an existing sound, level floor surface and is ideally suited for retrofit underfloor heating installations. Simply to install and with quick reaction times, there are multiple benefits of installing a low profile underfloor heating system from MyGas.
Cylinders
MyGas engineers have licensed G3 certification which qualifies us to install or maintain unvented cylinders.
Whether you are considering a new installation or replacement cylinder, MyGas can undertake all cylinder installations and offer professional advice on choice of product, sizing and placement.
It may also be surprising to know that you should have your cylinder checked every year to ensure it is operating safe and effeciently.
If you have a cylinder within your property we will include these checks within your boiler service for no charge.
Controls
With the advent of modern SMART controls and the Boiler Plus initiative, MyGas can advise on the correct choice of upgrade for your boiler control before advancing to its installation.
We are able to install Nest and Hive thermostat controls in addition to all other leading boiler manufacture controls.
